Every day from 12:00-17:00 the INNOVATHENS hall of the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens will host “Beer Talks & Tastings” where Beer experts will talk to us about the types of beer, their special characteristics as well as the benefits of beer and its different uses. So if you want to know more about your favorite drink, we are waiting for you!  

Beer sommeliers will introduce us to the secrets of the right beer & food pairing, while well-known bartenders will present original beer cocktails and tips for perfect beer serving.

Beer Pairing: Which beer should I drink with my burger? Does beer go well with sushi? Can beer stand next to a fine dining dish and if so, what kind of beer? What food goes better Lager or Pisner? Beer Sommeliers will be here to tell you everything you want to know about the perfect combination of beer and food!

Beer Serving: What are the ideal beer serving temperatures? At how many degrees should you hold the glass to properly serve the beer? Is there an ideal beer glass depending on its type? Get ready to learn all the best practices and tips for proper beer serving.

Beer Varieties: Do you know how many types of beer exist? What exactly is lager beer? How many subcategories can a beer category have? Did you know that there are 3 basic types of beer and they are formed according to its fermentation? Our beer experts are here and will answer all your questions.

At the same time, three discussion panels will be held (one per day) with the main themes: “Beer in Greece today – Development of the brewing industry in Greece – Breweries & Microbreweries: imports-exports-positive impact-revenues for the state” where they will participate executives from Breweries-Members of the Greek Association of Brewers.
