Beer Talks and Tastings

Every day from 12:00 – 20:00 the format “Beer Talks & Tastings” will take place in the INNOVATHENS hall at Technopolis – Municipality of Athens: Beer experts share their knowledge about various types of beer, their special characteristics as well as the benefits of beer and its different uses. So, if you want to know more about your favorite drink, we are waiting for you!   

Find out the secret to pairing the right beer with the right foods from beer sommeliers or learn tips on how to perfectly serve beer or how to make beer cocktails from well-known bartenders.

Beer Pairing

Which beer should I have with my burger? Does beer go well with sushi? Can beer stand next to a fine dining dish and if so, what kind of beer? What food goes best with lager or Pilsner? Beer Sommeliers will tell you everything you want to know about the perfect combination of beer and food! 

Beer Serving

What is the ideal beer serving temperature? At what angle should you hold the glass to properly serve the beer? Is there an ideal beer glass depending on its type? Get ready to learn all the best practices and tips for proper beer serving.  

Beer Varieties

Do you know how many types of beer exist? What exactly is lager beer? How many subcategories can a beer category have? Did you know that there are 3 basic types of beer depending on its fermentation? Our beer experts are here to answer all your questions. 

Everyday a different discussion panel with executives from member breweries of the Greek Associtaion of Brewers will take place.
